Enid, OK - The next meeting of the IENetwork is Tuesday, February 13th at City Central, 5th floor meeting room – 5:30 to 7:00 pm in Ponca City. William Hall, Patent Attorney with McAfee & Taft from Oklahoma City will be presenting information on protecting personal and company intellectual property and how to avoid costly mistakes which can lead to even costlier litigation.

Hall will cover Trade Secrets, Patents, Trademarks, Copyright and Software Licensing and other contractual areas. One of the underlying ideas that he will try to convey is the premise of “preventive law”. An individual or company can put in place preventive law guidelines which will help avoid litigation in the intellectual property area.

Hall will be taking questions as the presentation goes along and will be staying for 15 minutes after the presentation for a short question and answer period. However, since he is not representing any of the attendees, the questions will have to be general in nature and scope. This program is free and open to the public.
