We are so thrilled to be able to hit $3 million this year!”
The store employs 28 people, works with agencies to provide vouchers to those in need, and gives local residents an easy way to donate items they no longer need or want, while funding important Enid programs.
“Park Avenue Thrift began with a distinct and unique vision: run a top-notch thrift store and use the profits from that thrift store to improve the quality of life in Enid,” says Andrew Long, President of Park Avenue Thrift’s Board of Directors, “I am honored to help steward that vision well into the future!” Long also said that, given the scope of projects funded and the sheer dollar amount given back to Enid, nearly every Enid citizen is involved with something funded by Park Avenue Thrift. “From big projects and organizations like Leonardo’s and “Under Her Wing Was the Universe,” to classroom projects and public art, Park Avenue Thrift is Enid and we couldn’t do it without the generous support and donations of our community!"
