ENID, OK - If you have ever been to Leonardo’s Discovery Warehouse, enjoyed the fireworks Main Street puts on downtown the day after Thanksgiving, experienced a symphony or a Gaslight performance, or have children in a local public school, you have benefited from Park Avenue Thrift.
Since 2007 Park Avenue Thrift has contributed nearly $3 million to community nonprofits and schools, including Loaves & Fishes, Enid Symphony, Enid and Chisholm Public Schools through DonorsChoose.org, Chautauqua, Gaslight, Leonardo’s Discovery Warehouse, Lead Guitar and other organizations that improve quality of life.
The store employs 30 people and gives local residents an easy way to share items they no longer need so they can be used by others, while funding important Enid programs.
Items can be dropped off in the back of the building. Employees are on hand to even unload your vehicle. Drop off days ar Monday – Saturday. If it’s too much for your trunk, call them to pick it up from an Enid location. 233-PARK (7275).
Having a garage sale? Park Avenue can help! They have clothing racks that can be reserved for your sale. Call ahead to schedule your sale, pick-up the racks. The only stipulation is they pick up the racks and the leftovers at the same time at the end of your sale.
They even accept cars, boats, and motor homes! Items they do not accept include items beyond resealable condition, pianos, organs and TVs (unless it’s a functional flat screen).
