Graveside services for Opal L. Wheeler, 94, Enid resident, will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 11:00 am in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Opal was born on March 9, 1927 in Enid, the daughter of William C. and Duffie Derr, and passed away on July 2, 2021 at her residence. Opal was raised in Hunter, graduating from Hunter High School. Later, Opal studied at Enid Business College. She worked as a bookkeeper for Champlin Oil Company. She married Dr. Donald E. Wheeler. He preceded her in passing. Opal was a league member of a bowling league.
Survivors include her son, Don and wife Terri Wheeler of Enid; niece, Cari of Madison, Kansas.
Opal was preceded in passing by her parents, husband, and daughter Becky.
