HENNESSEY, OK - Prairie Quilt, Oklahoma’s largest quilt shop, is celebrating a milestone this month, marking 18 years since the business opened its doors in 2001.

Randa Parrish has owned and operated the shop from the beginning. “We are excited to host a celebration that will offer fun demonstrations and promotions. This celebration is as much about our loyal customers as it is about Prairie Quilt. We want to make this event exciting for everyone.”
-
“I also have some special news to reveal, and I think our birthday celebration is the perfect opportunity to announce the exciting things we have on the horizon,” Parrish said. “I plan to share our good news following the grand prize drawings on Saturday.”
-
Prairie Quilt Marketing Director Dani Comstock is coordinating the event and has high hopes for turnout and participation that will benefit both the store and its customers. “We're celebrating all week long with special promotions and demonstrations, leading up to our Grand Birthday Finale on Saturday, March 16, which is also Worldwide Quilting Day. Starting Friday, March 1, customers will have various opportunities to earn tickets that will be used as entries into our prize drawings which will take place on March 16.”
-
Tickets for the prize drawings are available to online shoppers as well. “We wanted to be sure to include our online market in the fun,” Comstock said. “We have loyal customers from all over the world, and we want them to be a part of this celebration, even if they can’t be here in person.”
-
Daily drawings will take place beginning Sunday, March 10. Prizes and winners will be announced each afternoon on Facebook. Also beginning March 10, prize-winning scratch tickets will be given for all purchases made in the store.
