Nola Jewell (Smith) Noll was born in Enid, Oklahoma on May 13, 1935, and passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Nola was one of six children born to Dan and Lena (Nixon) Smith; brother, Daniel Lee; and four sisters, Norma June, Beverly Jean, Neveleen Joyce and Carolyn Jeanine. Nola married F. LeRoy Noll on December 24, 1956. Nola was a housewife, and mother to Noland LeRoy, born August 10, 1958. So they would know who she was calling front and center, LeRoy became just “Roy” and Noland became “Lee.” Nola lost her beloved Roy on January 4, 2011. He was her everything, her life. Then, on December 16, 2012, brain cancer took her son Lee.
Nola will be laid to rest beside her husband Roy in Karoma Cemetery, Goltry, Oklahoma. At her request there will be no services.
