Funeral services for Nina Ruth Coulter, 75, Enid resident, will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Family Faith Fellowship with Pastor Keith Funk officiating. Committal prayers and interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Cherokee Municipal Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Nina was born February 10, 1941 at Homestead OK, to Lavern and Iva “Lucille” (Monger) Martin. She attended Longdale School, Longdale, OK and graduated Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Alva, OK in May 1990.
Nina married Carol “Chuck” Coulter June 2, 1990 in Mineral Wells, TX. Nina had a varied career until she found her life’s calling, when she became a minister in 1999. She was a servant to others through ministry, mentoring, cooking, sewing, and unconditional love.
She is survived by husband, Carol “Chuck” Coulter; five children; three sons, Bill Don Parker and wife Robbie of Aransas Pass, TX, Randy Lee Parker and wife Bobbi of Carmen Ok, and Shane J Parker and wife Chris of Cherokee, Ok, two daughters; Tanya Joy Parker of Enid, Ok, and Denaye Joy Parker Prigmore and husband Kenneth of Alva, OK, four step-sons; Chuck Coulter Jr of Sulfur, Ok, Kenneth Coulter of Enid, Ok, Daniel Coulter of Enid, Ok and Chad Coulter and wife Ashley of Edmond, OK, 29 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, brothers; Edwin Martin of Enid, Ok, and Louranze “Dean” Martin and wife Shirley of Richmond, VA. She is preceded in death by Father, Lavern Edwin Martin and Mother, Iva “Lucille” Monger Martin.
