ENID, OK — Carrie Sanders, incoming president of the Rotary Club of Enid, presented a gift to outgoing president Dan Schiedel following the gavel exchange July 11. Carrie will lead the Enid club through June 2023.
On display in the background was the new 2022-2023 Rotary International theme and image, “Imagine Rotary.”
Carrie is executive director of the Enid-based Cherokee Strip Community Foundation. In previous community roles, she has been executive director of the Enid YWCA and the Loaves and Fishes food bank. With a degree in nutritional sciences from Oklahoma State University, Carrie previously worked as a dietitian for Stillwater Medical Center and for Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid before moving into non-profit leadership.
Rotary Club of Enid is a club of over 150 Enid businessmen and women that meet every Monday at Noon at the Stride Center. They are the second largest of 38 clubs in District 5750.
