National Wild Turkey Federation Banquet

ENID, OK - If you enjoy wildlife, wild places and our hunting heritage, you'll want to be a part of the National Wild Turkey Federation Hunting Heritage fundraising banquet being held in February. The NWTF built its solid reputation by leading what is recognized by many as the greatest conservation success story in this country's history---bringing the wild turkey back from near extinction.
-
The Cherokee Strip Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) will host their annual banquet at the Hoover Building, 312 E. Oxford in Enid, to raise money for projects that conserve wildlife and preserve Oklahoma's hunting heritage. Join other wildlife enthusiasts at the Hunting Heritage Banquet on February 2 at 5:30pm.
-
Dinner starts at 7:00pm, but you're invited to arrive at 5:30pm to enjoy a social hour before the banquet begins.  Families can play games and enter raffles to win several different items.
-
Money raised at this event helps support our local scholarship programs, area conservation projects, NASP and the Scholastic Shooting Sports in area schools, and programs to introduce women, youth, and physically challenged to the outdoors!
-
Purchase tickets online or contact Mark Bowers at 580-554-0263.

When the National Wild Turkey Federation was founded in 1973, there were about 1.5 million wild turkeys in North America. After decades of dedicated work, that number hit a historic high of almost 7 million turkeys thanks to the tremendous efforts of our dedicated volunteers, professional staff and committed partners.
