OKC & TULSA, OK - Producers of the smash hit "Hamilton: An American Musical" have announced the Tony Award winning musical is coming to Oklahoma! Enid residents will have a chance to catch the show in Oklahoma City or Tulsa in the summer of 2019.

Fans wanting a shot at "Hamilton" tickets are being encouraged to purchase season tickets for the 2017-18 seasons of OKC Broadway's shows at the Civic Center Music Hall or Tulsa's Celebrity Attractions' shows at the Performing Arts Center.

Tulsa season tickets can be purchased at www.celebrityattractions.com and OKC season tickets can be pruchased at www.okcbroadway.com. Details on the 2017-2018 seasons will be released soon.

Patrons who subscribe to the 2017-2018 seasons will have the first opportunity to renew their subscriptions for the 2018-2019 seasons and will be able to purchase tickets to "Hamilton" when they become available in both cities. Season ticket holders can purchase tickets before they become available to the general public. Engagement dates and purchase instructions will be announced at a later date.

"Hamilton" is the story of Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. The musical blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway.
