In the early evening of Sept, 23, 2020, Myrna Earlene Best died at the age of 76 after a long battle with pain and cancer.
Myrna was born in Oakwood, Okla., on May 1, 1944, to Clara Mae Black and Earl Leroy Wanzer. She met and married the love of her life, Cleo Urcle Best on Oct. 11, 1959. The two raised three
children, Roxane, Ricky and Scotty.
Myrna enjoyed working in her garden raising many different flowers and vegetables. She shared this love with anyone who was around. She was also a fishing and hunting enthusiast. She was known for her strong will and determination. If you told her she couldn't do it, she would.
Myrna is preceded in death by both parents, her ex-husband, Cleo, and her son, Ricky. She is survived by her daughter, Roxane Lemme and husband William, and son, Scott Best and wife Jenise; eight grandchildren, Danny, Rebecca, Ryan, Heather, Jeremy, Corey, Dustin and Christopher; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She also has two sisters and one brother, Frances, Sherry and Joe.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Myrna will be held Nov. 7, 2020, at 6 p.m. in the Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Enid, 749 N. 11th Street, Enid, OK, USA.
