ENID, Okla. - The Big Blue Band traveled to Winfield, Kansas to compete in the Mound of Sound Marching Contest at Southwestern College Moundbuilders Richard L. Jantz Stadium.

The Mound of Sound Marching Festival is KSHSAA and OSSAA approved and provides an opportunity for schools to perform for a panel of adjudicators in a friendly and supportive environment. The feedback given is intended to encourage participating bands to make improvements in their marching and music for future performances at home and other festivals.

Enid scored a rating of 1, and also received first in class, outstanding color guard, outstanding percussion, best drum major, and Grand Champion!
