Mickey Lenn Botts was born on June 14, 1957 to James Anderson Botts and Elinor Sue Martin in Bethany, OK. Passed from this life on July 4th 2022 in Ames, Oklahoma.
Graveside memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Mickey graduated from Chisholm High School Enid, OK. Working in the oil field, then on to truck driving hauling livestock across state lines, establishing his home in Enid, Ok. Married Brenda Layton, from Pale City, Alabama, February 14th, 1995. Making their home in Ames, Oklahoma at Crystal Lakes. Returning in the oil field, working until 2019.
Mickey enjoyed spending time with Brenda and friends, working on the farm outside of Ringwood. Fishing and watching football. Mickey was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Those cherishing his memory include wife Brenda, step children Tammy and Husband Jamie Tate, Grandchildren Alli, Justin Tate of Vincent, Alabama. Mother, Sue Manning of Enid, OK. Father Jim Botts of Oklahoma City, Ok. Sister, Mitzi Padgett, of Jones, Ok. Nephew, BJ Langley wife Bri of Oklahoma City, Ok. Great Nephews and nieces. One Uncle, Buck Martin of Enid, Ok. Special Friends, Ralph and Melinda Westfahl, Scott and Sherry Carrier of Ringwood, OK. Numerous friends and Co-Workers.
