Michelle Rayann (Culp) Rowley was born August 7, 1971 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to parents, Delores Ann (Buffington) and Frank M. Culp. She went to meet her Heavenly Father on October 28, 2016 after a bravely fought cancer illness at her father and step mother’s home in Fairfax, Oklahoma.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Burbank Alumni and Community Center in Burbank, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m.
Michelle attended public schools in Scott City, Kansas and Laverne, Oklahoma. Later marrying Gary Rowley of Elk City, Oklahoma where they lived until Michelle became ill with cancer. She moved to Fairfax, Oklahoma for a very short time before her death to be closer to family in her final days.
Michelle had an avid love for animals. During her childhood she befriended a wild deer as a fawn and would talk to the deer, she named Comet, very calmly and quietly and the deer would seemingly stand and listen to her. Michelle, also, had her beloved dogs as very special pets. She loved animals.
Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Delores Ann, and her grandparents, Willard and Ethel Culp and Gladys and Bud Buffington.
Surviving Michelle are her husband, Gary and mother-in-law Lorita Rowley; her dad, Frank and step-mom, Neoma Culp, brothers, Tim and wife Tammy; Mark and wife Kelly, sister, Tina and husband Randy Gray; half-brother Frank and wife Tina; four nieces, four nephews and two great nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the North Central Oklahoma Hospice group for their extreme care and concern during Michelle’s short time in Fairfax, also, Stittsworth Funeral Services of Enid, Oklahoma.
