The following regulations will go into effect Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 11:59PM:

• Social gatherings of more than ten are prohibited.
• Religious services are limited to gatherings of ten or less.
• Public restaurants are limited to drive through, take out, or delivery options.
• Bars, gyms, exercise facilities, miniature golf, bowling alleys, arcades, skating rinks, and movie theatres are closed to the public.

The regulations will expire April 13, 2020, at 11:59pm unless extended.

Mayor George Pankonin said, “After much research, thought and discussion, I have decided to take our Emergency proclamation to the inevitable next step. It would be irresponsible to hold off until someone is critically ill or deceased in our city to make this tough decision.”

So how many cases in enid are confirmed and when can we get tested?
What about hotels, I’m working at one and I feel very unsafe. We dont take any extra precautions for this COVID19 , and I’m scared for my family and myself.
Why doesn’t anyone seem to care when flu season comes around and people die? Do the math the death rates are about the same this year in Oklahoma and the nation…it is a good idea to use common sense practices and protect the elderly but to completely shut down all businesses may be their “death warrants “ will the economy ever recover? I just hope this has been studied and not just another knee jerk reaction to disinformation
