The memorial service to celebrate the life of Mary Peterman, age 92 of Enid, will be 4:00 PM Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Jones officiating.
Mary was born August 8, 1924, in Wichita, Kansas and passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017, in Enid. She grew up in an orphanage in Tecumseh, OK, and later moved to Enid at the age of 16.
Mary married Leo Peterman on August 6, 1943 in Enid, where they made their home. She held various jobs during her lifetime, with the last being a nurse’s aide and in homecare.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Gene Paul and Jimmy, a granddaughter and three great grandchildren.
Mary is survived by two sons and their wives, Ron and Debbie Peterman of Waukomis, and Roger and Erlene Peterman of Enid, eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Toby Keith Foundation through the funeral home.
