A Celebration of Life for Mary Etta Boese, age 78, of Enid, is 2:00 pm, Monday, December 26, 2016 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Vernon Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Mary was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on December 15, 1938 to Ralph Bowers and Lona (Roark) Bowers and passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Enid.
She married Alvin Boese on November 3, 1963 in Las Vegas. They celebrated 46 years of marriage prior to Alvin’s passing in 2011. She was the owner and operator of Mary’s Upholstery Shop in Waukomis for many years. Mary’s faith was very important to her; she loved the Lord and read her bible daily.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lona Bowers; husband Alvin Boese; two sons, Ronnie Caldwell and Marty Boese; three brothers, Hobert, Ronald and Jerry. She is survived by five children, daughter Kimberly Bennett and husband Robert of Kingfisher; Terry Caldwell and Tony Caldwell, both of Enid; Amanda Boese of Enid; sister, Lou Smith of Enid as well as several nieces, nephews and other family.
Memorials in Mary’s name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
