Mary “Diane” Dees was born in Hobart, OK on June 24, 1952 to Bill and Vaunita McClure and passed away with her family by her side at her home on July 17, 2020 in Enid, OK. She graduated from Mt View High School. Diane worked at both Moscow High School and Pioneer-Pleasant Vale High School and was loved dearly by the students and teachers at both schools. She enjoyed teaching bible class and invested a lot of time and energy in her “kids” she loved so much. She loved playing jokes on people and especially loved dressing up and “singing” happy birthday to many, always the life of the party. Her and Don enjoyed being together and had fun taking off on spontaneous trips whether driving across town sight-seeing or across states. She was a very giving, selfless servant and especially loved children. Being a Grandi was a favorite thing and made lots of special memories with her grands. Diane is survived by her husband Don of the home, two daughters; Kenya Olson and husband Clint, Dacia Redgate and husband Ryan all of Waynoka; son Rance Meier and fiancé Julie Miller of OKC; brother Larry McClure and wife Kathy of Fairview; three grandsons Curan Olson and fiancé Savannah Stripling, Casen Olson, and Traben Redgate; granddaughter Tayen Redgate all of Waynoka; aunt Shirley Mason and husband Marland of Enid; niece Kourtney Keeton and husband Nathan of Fairview; nephew Ryan McClure and wife Caitlin, Norman; a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews, her church family, and many dear friends.
