A Celebration of Life for Marvin R. Laubach will be Tuesday, November 29, 2016, 11:00 AM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Dan O’Daniel officiating. Cremation was under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Marvin was born August 10, 1926 in Okeene, OK and passed away November 20, 2016.
Marvin retired as a commander in the USNR in 1986. He was united in marriage to Darlene Scheerer February 14, 1952 in Oklahoma City and she preceded him in death January 24, 2012. Marvin was employed as Division Manager for The Gold Spot Dairy for over 35 years. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, The American Legion, VFW and the Military Officers Association. He served as a volunteer at the medical clinic at VAFB for thirteen years.
Survivors include four daughters, Ellen Miller of Wichita, Kansas, Janet Villaneuva of Fort Worth, Texas, Wynn Roth of Enid and Barbara Ditmars of Boulder, Colorado, two sons, Bud Laubach of Waukomis, and Les Laubach of Enid, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Romilda Haworth of Okeene and Charlene Clement of Oklahoma City. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a son, Lee F Laubach, a sister, Velma Miles and two grandsons, Lee F Laubach Jr. and Jacob Block.
