The memorial services honoring the life of Martin Dewane Poage, 63, of New Castle, Oklahoma, will be held 10:00 A.M. December 23, 2017 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Wade of St. Pauls Lutheran Church officiating. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He we born to Delbert Dewane Poage and Zada Gann on May 12, 1954 in Woodward, Oklahoma passed from this life on December 19, 2017 in New Castle, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1972. He was a welder, and a truck driver in the oil industry, and could fix anything. He was married to Angela Heitzman and from this union came one son Shae Poage. On October 5, 1978 he married Linda May Hays and from this union came one daughter Desiree Poage Gilbreath. He ran the landfill in New Castle and was over all of the transfer stations in the Oklahoma City area.

He is survived by one son Shea Poage and wife Jennifer, one daughter Desiree Gilbreath and husband David, his mother Zada Poage, one brother Bryan Poage, one sister Tracy Thorton, and 5 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Dewane Poage.
