Memorial service for Mark Ewald, 67, of Enid will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Grace Ministries, with Rev. Wayne Bland officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mark was born June 9, 1949, to Glen Frederick and Violet (Pendleton) Ewald in Great Falls, Montana, and passed away on October 21, 2016, at his home in Enid.
Mark graduated from High School in Montana, and joined the United States Navy in 1967. He retired in January 1988, as a chief electronics tech. Then he worked at Eagle Pass, Texas, until 1995. On June 26, 1995 he married Kathlene Bough in Wichita, Kansas, and they moved to Enid. Mark then worked at Vance Air Force Base with the T1, and was the union rep for Boeing. He was a member of Grace Ministries, where he helped with the youth group. Mark enjoyed helping people, and loved to fish.
Mark is survived by his wife Kathy; children Sheila Ewald of Enid, Jammie Bennett, of Florida, Jannice Valladarez of Enid, and Wayne Lewis of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 2 brothers Alan Ewald and Jerry Boughton; and 2 sister Mary Dietz, and Judy Odonnell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Glen Ewald; step father Edward Boughton, and sister in law Sheila Ewald.
