The funeral service for Marilyn Lee Lightfield, age 60, will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 30, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Terry O’Toole officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. Visitation with family will be 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
Marilyn was born to Lonnie and Lucille (Akins) Lee on March 2, 1955, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at her home in Enid.
Marilyn grew up in Chickasha, where she graduated high school. On June 28, 1973, she married Carl Lightfield, and they made their home in Chickasha. In 1985, they moved to Enid, where Carl and Marilyn were the owners and operators of Big Country & Enid Packing LLC. Marilyn’s family was extremely important to her – they were her world.
She is survived by her husband Carl of the home; four children, Greg and Jennifer Lightfield of Colorado Springs, Chad Lightfield of Mentor, Ohio, Hollee and Philip Terry of Enid, and Ceth and Natalie Lightfield of Davis, California; five grandchildren Nathaniel Lighfield, Brittany Lightfield, Owen Terry, Emalyn Terry, and Luke Terry; brother Ronald Lee of Amber; and two sisters Linda Gattis of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Carolyn Stroud of Amber.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother Larry, parents, and granddaughter Summer Dawn Lightfield.
