Graveside services for Marianne O. McCormick, 90, Enid resident, will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 11:00 am in Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor David Reber with St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Marianne was born on July 21, 1929 in Heidelberg, Germany, the daughter of August and Eva Elfner, and passed away peacefully on January 29, 2020 in Enid. She married Russel G. McCormick on February 14, 1957 during his Army tour of Germany. There were two children born to this union, Manfred McCormick and Jackie McCormick. Marianne came to the United States with her husband in 1962 and made their home in Enid. Marianne self-taught herself to speak and read English.

Survivors include her son Jack; three granddaughters, Michell James, Sandy Woods and Shannon Knott; one grandson, Jason McCormick; numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
