Margie Mae Bullock, 91, was promoted to glory on Monday evening, October 16, 2023 in Enid. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 20, 2023 in The Salvation Army Citadel with Captain David Brittle officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Margie was born on December 23, 1931 in Willows, California, the daughter of Carl Parker Stephens and Marquita Emma Johnson Stephens. She grew up in the Bay Area of California. Margie married Richard Bullock in June of 1952 in the Salvation Army of Vallejo, California. They moved to Enid in 1964 where Margie worked as a clothing sorter for the Salvation Army for many years. She taught Sunday School, Girl Guards, and Ladies Home League.
Margie is survived by daughters, Cathy Sutton of Enid, Charlotte Gragret of Enid. A bonus daughter, Betty and husband John Foster of Enid,. Grandchildren: Crystal and Jayme Johnston of Little Elm, Texas Ricky Bullock, Steven Bullock of California, Jason Weidner of Enid, Rebecca and husband Ronnie Willson of Enid, Jennifer and Josh Redding of Enid, Jared and wife Cassie Weidner of Enid, Ryan and Amanda Bullock of Wisconsin, Drue and Joel Crites of California, Angel Sutton of Enid, Thomas and wife Breauna Sutton of Enid. Brother-In-Law, Raymond Helms of Chico, California.; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Margie was preceded in passing by her Parents, husband, two sons, Richard Bullock and Russell Bullock. two brothers and four sisters, and one great-grandchild.
Memorial ccontributions may be made directly to the Salvation Army.
