A Memorial Service for Peggy Crisci, age 79, will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel.
Peggy was born to Harry and Florence (Hart) Ward on April 12, 1937 in Kingfisher County near Marshall, and passed away Monday, December 12, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Enid.
Peggy attended Marshall High School. She married Robert Casteel, and they had three children. Robert died in 1961. Peggy married Richard Horney in 1964, and they had two children. In 1988 Peggy married James Crisci. They owned and operated the Depot Café in Fairview. After retirement, they moved to a farm east of Enid, which was also a nine-hole golf course and airfield. They both were pilots and loved to fly. Their final retirement was to Cedar Valley Golf Course in Guthrie. Peggy loved her family, the outdoors, gardening, and the lake. She was a member of Christian Church of the Covenant.
Peggy is survived by her children: Susan Casteel of Norman, Tom and Pat Casteel of Fairview, Christina Nichols of Oklahoma City, Richelle and Brad Simpson of Fairmont, and Patricia Ward of Enid; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister Carolyn Ward of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, several brothers and sisters.
