The services celebrating and honoring the life of Margaret “Peggy” (Goodlin) Walker, 63, of Enid will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday December 27, 2023, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Court Peirce officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.
Peggy was born March 11, 1960 to Ovid and Doris Goodlin in East Liver Pool, Ohio and passed from this life December 19, 2023 in Enid, Oklahoma.
She was raised and educated in Huntington Park, California. In 1973 she married Bob Walker in California, from this union came five sons. The couple moved to Enid, Oklahoma to be near family. She was a full time homemaker and mother to their boys. In 1992 she began working as a C.N.A. and operated Tumbleweed Cycles. She later managed the warehouse and worked as a cashier at the Enid Salvation Army, retiring in 2021.
She is survived by 2 sons, Joe Walker and wife Melissa and Billy Walker and husband Nick Hanson; 6 grandchildren, Aria, RJ, Joe Jr., Emma, Caleb and Hunter; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sons, Richard (Ricky), Caleb, and Mike Walker.
