Margaret Mary “Maggie” Kingcade, age 71, of Casa Grande, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at her home. She was born on September 22, 1948 in San Francisco, California to James A. and Susanah D. Danforth Ambrose.

Maggie grew up in a military family, moving often. She and her sister enjoyed countless adventures in their new homes and travels. Maggie graduated high school in Wichita Falls, Texas then went on to Midwestern State University for a time.

On June 23, 1983 in Canadian County, Oklahoma Maggie and Jerry Kingcade were married. They were both well experienced in the oil industry and formed their own business, Vista Energy, near Yukon, Oklahoma. Maggie lived many places, with each new home she made lifelong friendships.

Maggie is survived by her husband, Jerry Kingcade of Casa Grande; daughter, Michelle (Pat) Noble of Enid, Oklahoma; half-sister, Laura Ambrose of Los Angeles, California; brothers-in-law, Stephen Murphy of San Francisco, California, Steve (Linda) Kingcade of Westville, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Robert) Young of Ringwood, Oklahoma and Lue Ann (Dave) Root; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many other relatives and so many good friends.

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Susanah Ambrose and sister, Susie Murphy.

A memorial service will be held at the Heritage Casa Grande Funeral Chapel on March 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana, Arizona.
