ENID, OK - Marcy Jarrett, Director of Visit Enid, stopped by the studio to talk about tourism in Enid, the downtown hotel and marketing our great city. Visit Enid is the new identity for the former Enid Convention and Visitors Bureau.

“Maintaining the CDME status is very important to me,” Jarrett said. “Tourism is an ever-changing industry. Attending continuing education classes is crucial to staying on top of new travel trends, which helps us to continue our mission of attracting more visitors to Enid.”
All CDME professionals who wish to maintain their designation are required to complete continuing education activities after graduation every four years. Continuing education activities can include CDME education courses, attending Destinations International’s annual convention, and direct industry education such as attendance at state and regional tourism conferences.
