City Officials Announce Mailroom LLC Unauthorized to Accept Utility Payments

City of Enid officials are encouraging Enid residents to make their utility payments through the five approved methods. The authorized ways to make utility payments include:

According to Enid City officials, Mailroom LLC was informed in March 2012, through a letter from the City’ Attorneys office, that they were unauthorized to take payments on behalf of the City of Enid as of April 30th, 2012. Since receiving that letter they have continued to take payments, advertise that they accept payments, and for the last several weeks send in payments that result in late charges and fees for City of Enid customers. Several customers have complained and come in with receipts dated several weeks prior to when the City received payment from the Mailroom.
