Enid has a railroad bridge over East Maine that has a habit of eating the tops of trucks. The bridge has a sign stating the height is 11 ft 4 inches. It seems there are periodically drivers who do not believe those measurements and continue on under the bridge. It has become a standing joke that when it happens someone manages to get a picture and sends out word that the bridge "has eaten" another truck.
