Lynn Gale Hofacket, 63, of Carefree, AZ, passed away on November 9th, 2015 in the hospital in Scottsdale.
Lynn is predeceased by his parents, Homa and Mozell Hofacket, and his brother, Curtis Hofacket. Lynn is survived by his wife of 26 years, Casidy Ward. They were married in Santa Rosa, CA on July 6, 1989. He is also survived by his brother, Jerry Hofacket, of Napa, CA. Lynn was born in Lawton, OK on January 6, 1952. He graduated from Chattanooga High School in 1970 where he earned top honors in basketball and was named to the All-State basketball team. Hofacket went on to play basketball at Murray State Junior College in Tishomingo, OK and North Texas State in Denton, TX. Hofacket was an entrepreneur in the construction trades in OK. Upon moving to CA in 1988, he created Hidden Ridge, a 60 acre rugged mountain vineyard which produces a highly rated Cabernet Sauvignon wine brand. He enjoyed travel, exploring AZ in his jeep, playing tennis and reading. He will be greatly missed by friends and family.
His Memorial Service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m., November 22nd in the chapel at the First United Methodist Church in Enid, OK. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home in Phoenix and Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home in Enid.
