Love’s & Carl's Jr. Open June 23

ENID, Okla. -Finally. After months of delays due to road construction and signal lights the Love's Country Store at Highway 412 and 42nd St. is now open. Reports from opening day say the new establishment was packed and the Carl's Jr. drive thru was backed up at least 15 cars.

“We are excited to open a new store on U.S. Highway 412 just outside of Enid,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “With the strong local economic activity as well as the trucks servicing the oil fields, we feel our Customers will enjoy additional parking, dining options and other driver services along this major thoroughfare.”

The 8,000 square-foot facility is open 24/7. The new Love’s features 63 truck-parking spaces, five showers, RFID cardless fueling, CAT scales and other driver services. Customers can also enjoy gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift items, a Carl’s Jr. restaurant and more.

Oklahoman’s Tom and Judy Love started Love's in Watonga, Oklahoma in 1964 in an abandoned filling station. Love’s currently has 65 Oklahoma locations and 360 nationwide.

Enid's Travel Stop is larger than the Country Stores which allow it to handle both regular consumers and truck drivers. The Enid Love’s could eventually have a hotel for both truckers and families.
