“Love The Bump Day” Set For March 29th
INTEGRIS Bass Baptist Health Center, in conjunction with the Garfield County Health Department, is hosting a free health event promoting healthy moms before, during and after pregnancy. The event is called “Love the Bump Day” and it will be held on Saturday, March 29th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Oakwood Mall.
The event is designed to be educational and fun at the same time. A variety of organizations will be on hand providing information including: nutrition, child care, child development, social service information, Hispanic resources, smoking cessation, and lactation consulting. INTEGRIS primary care physician, Dr. Jon Mills, will also be on hand to answer questions.
Special presentations include:
Dealing with Postpartum Depression (by ATS Counseling) at 11:30 a.m.
Mom and Baby Fashion Show at 12:30 p.m.
Physician Prenatal Care (by Dr. Michelle Bergner, OB/GYN) at 1:30 p.m.
Additionally there will be door prizes, giveaways, and two drawings for a free car seat. Refreshments, tea and cookies, nail painting and makeup application round out the event. Spanish translators will be available to interpret. For more information call 580-548-1110.
