Funeral services for Louise Nakvinda, 92 of Enid, will be Monday, October 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Drew Drawbridge officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.

Louise was born on January 28, 1926 in Aurora, Colorado to Ernest J. and Marie Pierce and died on October 9, 2018 in Enid with her family by her side.

She grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1944. Louise worked for Southwestern Bell, before going to Beeches Beauty School. She married Olaf Wesley Stephens and they made their home in Enid. They had three children. She worked in beauty shops for a couple of years. Louise worked at various times at Trade Mart, Gibson’s and TG&Y. On May 18, 1974, she married Raymond Nakvinda in Cashion and they made their home in Enid. Ray and Louise owned and operated Ray’s Auto Sales for 31 years.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; daughter, Sharon; her parents; twin brother, Lilburn; sister, Nona, and brother, Jerry.

She is survived by her two children and their spouses, Larry Stephens and Minnie Atkinson and Barbara
and Larry Davis, all of Enid; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Ross Hospice.
