ENID, OK - Local musician, Benjamin Glaze, will be featured on the premiere of American Idol, at 7:00pm Sunday, March 11 on ABC.

Glaze started his American Idol journey in Tulsa when he tried out for the show at the end of August. The judges in Tulsa said he was the best that they had heard all day! He received a callback and auditioned for the next round which also went well.

Glaze was then invited to Chicago for his third audition. He performed in Chicago on September 1o and was invited to be a contestant on the show in Nashville.

Glaze made his way to Nashville and on October 19 he got to audition for the celebrity judges. He spent much of the day doing interviews and posing for photo shoots. Unfortunately at this stage Glaze was not invited to go to Hollywood. But his journey is not over!

Glaze and a few lucky auditionees who nearly made the cut, can still make the show. Judges, Bryan, Perry and Richie, have selected singers to re-audition for a second chance at the competition.
