ENID, OK - A local cosmetologist, Katy Mateaki, has recently been awarded the opportunity to travel to New York City to assist at New York Fashion Week in September. In April, she and other employees at Pearl Parlor began selling vegan haircare products by Mr. Smith. The product sold so well that Pearl Parlor became #1 in sales for the company.

In July, Mateaki received word that, because of the salon’s outstanding sales, she will be able to assist a well-known stylist, Freda Rossidis, in preparing Chanel models to walk the runway at Fashion Week. When discussing the opportunity, Katy shared that she is excited to represent Enid as she pursues her dreams on her trip over the coming months.
