ENID, OK – The Enid Public Library is excited to announce an upcoming improvement project. The library building will be temporarily closed to the public, December 2-17, 2023, to facilitate the installation of new carpeting throughout the facility and to implement the new layout and updated computer systems.
This essential upgrade is part of our ongoing commitment to providing a clean, welcoming, and comfortable space for all library visitors. The new carpet will not only improve the aesthetics of the library but also contribute to a more pleasant and inviting atmosphere for patrons of all ages.
Simultaneously, we are excited to unveil a redesigned first-floor layout that will enhance the library's functionality. We are confident that these changes will provide a better experience for everyone who visits the Enid Public Library.
During the closure, the library staff will be working diligently to prepare for the carpet installation and implement the new layout and updated computer systems. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance our community's library space.
We encourage patrons to take advantage of our digital resources and online services during this period. Our online catalog, eBooks, eAudiobooks, and other virtual library resources will remain accessible 24/7 via the library website at enid.okpls.org. Curbside pickup of available reserves will also be available.
The Enid Public Library will reopen to the public on Monday, December 18, 2023 with fresh new carpet, updated first-floor layout, and updated public computers.
