Scholastic Book Fair Underway at Enid Public Library

January 19, 2016 – City of Enid officials announced today all proceeds from the Scholastic Book fair will be donated to the Dover Public School System.

Until January 29th, the Enid Public Library is hosting the book sale to benefit the Dover school that experienced a devastating fire to various buildings. Both monetary donations and book sales proceeds will be given to the Dover school. A fire was reported at the Dover Public Schools building on January 12. The central portion of the building, which houses the high school and some administrative offices, was heavily damaged by fire. The high school gymnasium and elementary school sustained smoke damage

According to Enid library staff, the scholastic book fair is located in the entry way of the public library and the sale will operate during normal library hours. Children and teen books are for sale; however, adult books and some cookbooks are available for purchase.

The Enid Public library is open Monday thru Thursday from 9 am to 7pm and open Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm.
