ENID, OK - Tickets are now on sale for Leonardo’s Annual Awards Dinner and Auction, to be held March 9 at Central National Bank Center Grand Ballroom. This year gala will feature a Willy Wonka theme, “Pure Imagination,” complete with a chocolate fountain.
-
“The purpose of the event is twofold,” said Lewis Eggleston, Marketing and Auction Coordinator. “The awards dinner will honor all those members, volunteers and donors who made 2016 successful, while the auction will help fund our multi-faceted scholarship program for another year.”
-
Awards to be presented include Junior Volunteer of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Family of the Year, Friend of Leonardo’s, and Leonardo’s Legacy (honoring more than a decade of service to the organization). The Leonardo’s Board of Directors will also recognize outgoing Executive Director Julie Baird , who is retiring in April after serving the organization for twelve years.
-
Tickets are $75 per person, $150 per couple, or $500 to sponsor a table for eight people. The evening will include dinner, wine pull, live entertainment and a live and silent auction. “The auction will contain something for everyone,” Eggleston continued. “Trips, jewelry, purses, restaurant gift cards, artwork, golf, home décor and more will all be available for the right price and for a very worthy cause.”
-
The deadline to purchase tickets or to donate an item for the auction is March 1. For more information, Eggleston may be contacted at 580-233-2787 or marketing@leonardos.org.
