Funeral service for Lenlie “Gene” Ragoss will be Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 am in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Breckinridge, Oklahoma with Pastor Travis Orr officiating. Burial will follow in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory, Enid.
Gene was born on February 18, 1937 in Enid, Oklahoma to Walter and Elsie (Lang) Ragoss and passed away July 1, 2024 at his home in Hunter, with his children by his side.
Gene grew up on the family farm and graduated from Garber High School in 1955. On July 14, 1957, he married Shirley Haskins in Immanuel Lutheran Church and they made their home in Hunter. Gene was a machinist at Central Machine and Tool, retiring as a supervisor after 27 years.
He was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Breckenridge.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; parents, Walter and Elsie Ragoss; brother, Harlan.
Gene is survived by his son, Terry and wife, Sue Ragoss and their children, Brandon and Mindy; daughter, Kimberly Ragoss Collins and her children, Austin and wife, Jessica, Cheyenne and husband, Matthew, Barry and wife, Cassie, and Stacy; great grandchildren, Kinley, Harper Jean, Beaux, Thacher and Haven; sisters, Darlene Keilbarth and Ladova Roggow; other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made through Immanuel Lutheran Church to Camp Lutherhoma.
