Services for Larry Wendall Bergdall, 77, Enid, will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Pleasant Vale Community Church with Pastor Vernon Racer officiating. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Army.
Larry was born on June 21, 1938 in Ringwood, Oklahoma, the son of Joseph Harold and Mildred June Shreve Bergdall and passed away peacefully on January 1, 2016 at his residence. He was attended the Lahoma School System, graduating from Lahoma High School with the class of 1956. Larry attended Oklahoma State Technology in Okmulgee, where he received his degree in Diesel Mechanics. He married Shirley Mae Stricker in Ames, Oklahoma on August 7, 1959. Larry and Shirley owned and operated Shirley’s Canvas Shop for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley of the residence; son, Greg and wife Teena Bergdall of Enid; daughter, Traci Beth Bishard of Helena; three grandchildren, Raven and Utah Bishard, and Cali Bergdall; brother, Ronnie Bergdall of Meno. Larry was preceded in passing by his parents, brothers, Dale and Ross, and granddaughter, Miranda Bishard. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
