Larry N. Schoeling

April 6, 1939 - August 26, 2022

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Larry N. Schoeling, 83, of Enid, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday September 3, 2022, in the Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont, Oklahoma under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Larry was born April 6, 1939, to Erhardt and Pauline Frickenschmidt Schoeling on the family farm east of Fairmont, Oklahoma and passed from this life August 26, 2022, in Enid, Oklahoma. Larry was the youngest of seven children.

He was raised on the family farm and attended Garber schools. He farmed with his Father from an early age. Larry always enjoyed running the tractor. In his adult life he had a daily routine which included; coffee at the CO-OP each morning, eating lunch at the Senior Citizens center and visiting with friends, then ending his day with another trip to the coffee shop or quick trip. Recently Larry had developed a love for traditional jellybeans and Dr. Pepper which were his favorite treats. Larry was an avid train lover. He collected trains of all sorts. This included train sets, clocks with trains and artwork depicting trains from various eras.

He is survived by brother Richard Schoeling, of Douglas; special nephew Richie and his wife Kim Schoeling; and numeorus other nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Kenneth, Virgil, Edgar, Keith, and Glen.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the Tri-County Sr. Citizens Center or Zion Lutheran Church building fund, with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
