Larry was born on April 11, 1948 in Liberal, Kansas to George and Mary Lee Morphis, Jr. and died on August 15, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.

He spent most of his years growing up in Enid, Oklahoma and then served in the U.S. Navy. On May 28, 1971, Larry married the love of his life, Debbie Miller in Garber, Oklahoma. They made their home in Garber and he worked at various jobs, before his career at Farmland.
Larry is survived by his wife, Debbie; two daughters and their husbands, Dara and Andy McElfresh and Jessica and Criss VanGilder; four grandchildren, Shealynn Da’Coy Garrett, Dallas Michael Hunt, Jaylee Ava Jorns, and Merrik Rockhill VanGilder; other relatives and many friends.

Larry was preceded in death and welcomed to the other side, by his grandparents, Jess and Cecil Rupert; mother, Mary Lee Bourlon; sister, Sherry Garrett.
