LaDora Dell Hoover McFadden: Born January 16th, 1931 Died June 5th, 2019
-
LaDora Dell Hoover McFadden was born to William Earl Hoover and Barbara Amanda Hattie Winn Hoover in Shawnee Oklahoma on January 16th, 193l. She was one of 5 children.
-
In LaDora’s own words she wrote: “I was married to Dennis Euil McFadden on May 20th, 1950 and was married for 67 years. I gave birth to 6 children: Dennise Dell, Danny Earl, Spring Marie, Patricia Bernice Mary Maxine and Carol Irene. I had 12 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. “My eulogy is no eulogy. Please do not expound my history. My loved ones know my achievements. Or, if not, then my deeds are unimportant. Do not name my ancestors nor decedents. Those who have gone before do not care. Those who are here now know who they are. Please laugh, feel joy, remember my craziness and eat abundantly. It is enough to say, ‘She loved her God, she loved her husband, she loved her children, her sisters and her friends. She also loved roses, sunny skies, and cool breezes’.”
-
LaDora passed away with her children at her bedside. She is survived by her children Dennise McFadden Lawson of Gainesville, MO., Danny Earl McFadden of Enid, Spring McFadden Hendrix of Dietrich, Idaho, Patricia McFadden Wright of Gainesville, MO., Mary McFadden Trammell of the home, and Carol McFadden Roberts of Enid.
