ENID, OK - The Run for the Roses is celebrating its 150 th year on May 4 th , 2024 and Hospice Circle of Love is inviting you to watch the race with them at their annual Mint Julep Jubilee. Hospice Circle of Love’s event will kick off at 4:30 and be held at Oakwood Country Club.
Each ticket includes delicious Southern themed dishes and desserts as well as domestic beer, house wine and mint juleps. Tickets also include participation in casino games such as blackjack and roulette.
In addition, attendees are invited to take part in a “horse auction” 50/50 pot and will have the opportunity to win a diamond necklace. The event will include an opportunity to “bid” on the winning horse for a chance to take home thousands of dollars in prizes, such as an Apple watch, diamond earrings a Kentucky Derby purse or AirPods.
Individual tickets are $125.00. Sponsorships are available as well. A Win sponsorship is $1,000.00 and includes 10 tickets. A Place sponsorship is $500.00 and includes 5 tickets. A Show sponsorship is $250.00 and includes 2 tickets. Sponsors will also get recognition at the event.
Participants are encouraged to dress as if they were attending the Kentucky Derby in person. Big hats, colorful dresses and summer suits will all be in fashion.
Proceeds from the Mint Julep Jubilee will be used to care for patients who don’t have a Medicare or hospice insurance benefit. Hospice Circle of Love never charges patients or families for their services.
They have been caring for terminal ill patients in Northwest Oklahoma for over 40 years.
