Celebration of life services for Keith Henry McCartney, 57, Hennessey, will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Hennessey with Pastor Kirk Sutton officiating. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.
Keith was born on November 16, 1957 in Enid, the son of Chancy and Etheleen Mae McCartney and passed away on November 10, 2015 at his residence. He was raised and educated in Enid and graduated from Chisholm High School with the class of 1977. Keith moved with his parents to Perryton, Texas and later moved to Hennessey. He married Sally Marie Gritz in Kingfisher on September 25, 1980. Keith worked in the oilfield for many years and, alongside his wife, and daughters, owned and operated Keith and Sally’s Cafe in Hennessey for the last 20 years. Keith enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending quality time with his family and friends. Survivors include, wife, Sally of the residence; daughters, Susan McCartney of the residence; Marsha (James) Morgan of Hennessey; grandchildren, James Henry Morgan and Chance Allen Morgan, both of Hennessey; mother, Etheleen Mae McCartney of Kingfisher.
Keith was preceded in passing by his father, brother, Cliff McCartney and sister Sharon McCrary. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
