ENID, OK - Junior Welfare League’s 15th Annual Charity Gala, An Evening at Moulin Rouge, will be held on December 8, 2018 at the Central National Bank Center Arena. This event has become a must-attend for many in the community and proven to be a significant fundraiser, allowing JWL to contribute to many worthy non-profit organizations in Enid. Due to the kindness of local businesses and individuals, funds raised during the Annual Charity Gala and Auction have allowed JWL to disburse over $408,000 back into the Enid community since 2004.

Beneficiaries of this year’s event are all Educational based and will be going to the following: Enid Public School Foundation’s STEM Project (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Chisholm Foundation’s Chromebooks and Digital Curriculum's for Math and Spanish classes, and Garber Public School’s startup Teacher Grant Program. The funds raised from this years charity gala will go directly into the classrooms to help with the educational needs of the students.

JWL’s An Evening at Moulin Rouge Gala will transform the Central National Bank Center Arena into the world famous cabaret, Moulin Rouge. The night will feature Can-Can performances by the Oklahoma Showgirls, live music by the Big Daddy Band, and a full meal with Parisian style food. The Auction portion of the evening, sponsored by Edward Jones, will utilize the efficient mobile bidding system, Bidr, as the perfect complement to an exciting Live Auction led by Rick Miller, Auctioneer and Owner of Fund Your Org. Some auction items include, a trip to Mexico, Thunder Tickets and a signed basketball by the 2017-2018 Thunder team and a brand new AC Unit or Furnace. A few new addition to this years’ festivities will be Mirror Me Photo Booth of Oklahoma and an improved VIP lounge area that will feature a private bar and bottle service. Raffle items include a 9MM Kimber Aegis Elite Pro Handgun and a wagon of liquor that will stock your bar and refrigerator!
