Enid, OK, June 7, 2018 – Junior Welfare League’s Annual Charity Gala & Auction is a significant fundraiser for many worthy non-profit organizations in Enid. JWL provides project grants from funds raised at the event to assist those organizations with a specific project or program in need of funding. The generosity of local businesses and individuals has allowed JWL to disburse over $408,000 back into the community since 2004.

Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations that align with JWL’s mission as “a charitable organization...committed to promoting volunteerism and improving [the Enid] community.” Grant funds must be used for the benefit of the community, and applicants must be willing to attend and promote the 15th Annual Charity Gala on December 8, 2018. Requests will not be considered for fundraising drives, building fund/capital campaigns, mileage reimbursements, travel expenses, individual scholarships, individual research projects, salaries, or operational expenses.

The 15th Annual JWL Charity Gala & Auction, An Evening at Moulin Rouge, is on December 8, 2018 at Central National Bank Center. Attendees will enjoy an evening full of red decor, live entertainment, good food, and most importantly, fundraising for a worthy cause. Highlights include a full dinner with guaranteed seating for all guests, performances by the Oklahoma Showgirls, live music by The Big Daddy Band, and an efficient mobile bidding system for use in the silent and live auctions.
