Title: Director of Community Employment & Training Programs, OK Operations
Work Location: Enid, Oklahoma
Salary: $52,163 based on minimum 40 hours per week; exempt position
Typically Monday-Friday, but may require some evenings and weekends
Employee Profile:
Experienced Program Director with strong community integration values to manage and oversee the conversion of sheltered workshop services to community-based employment and training services for individuals with disabilities. Components of the services include development and oversight of Thrift Store, Transitional Employment Center, Group Worksites, Individual Placements, and an Industry-Specific Training and Placement Program. S/he will ensure the effective management of all aspects of the Employment & Training services for local area operations in accordance with leadership objectives, organizational mission, policies and procedures, program funding and regulatory agencies. S/he assures that all consumer, business, and contractual agreements and objectives are met and the operations are managed within budgetary limits. Master’s degree in social work, psychology, business, or related field and a minimum of five years experience required OR Bachelor’s degree and ten years of related experience with five years of management experience. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills both oral and written; supervision skills, ability to work independently in a team environment and be flexible to meet program needs; knowledge and respect for diverse population. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, use of vehicle, and willingness to drive program participants in own and/or agency vehicle. Desire to do meaningful work and make a difference in someone’s life a must. Bilingual/bicultural experience is an asset.
