The funeral service for Joshua Robert Hammond will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2016 at University Place Christian Church with Reverend Harold Hatt officiating. Service is under the direction of Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home.
Joshua was born March 16, 1983 in Enid and passed away peacefully November 30, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Joshua was raised in Enid where he would make it his home as an adult. He very much enjoyed drawing, singing, watching movies and spending time with friends and family. He was never too busy to sit down and visit for hours upon hours. Joshua was always the light of any room that he set foot in. He was an unbelievably gifted comedian, bringing perpetual laughter to all who witnessed his genius.
Joshua was very close to his mother, Bea whom was extremely loyal. He was happiest on the day that he became a father. Joshua loved his son, Datron more than anything in the world and never was a day he did not demonstrate that. He was also a big brother who loved, and that was extremely protective of his little sister, Emily. He will be remembered as a good son, a loving father, and loyal brother and friend.
Joshua is survived by his mother, Beatrice Anderson-Bueno; step-father, Valoren Bueno; sister, Emily Bueno; son, Datron Hammond; best friend and cousin, Christopher Hardage; aunt, Margaret; Uncle, Miles; cousins, Joe, Charles and Richard Hardage.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Hammond; maternal grandparents, Richard and Ann Anderson and his paternal grandparents, Judge and Naomi Hammond.
Memorials may be made to Enid SPCA with the Funeral Home acting as custodian of the fund.
